I simply took a fascinating journey within the Lot Valley and wished to share photos of a number of the joyful moments our group loved rambling by means of this timeless space of France. We adopted the stunning meanderings of the Lot River on a voyage the place each step introduced new joys and surprises. Vive la France!
There’s nothing extra fantastic than waking up in a chateau in France and considering this view out of your window.
We made a grand entrance into city, crossing a 14th century bridge over the Lot River to enter town of Cahors, the capital of Malbec wine. We had a fantastic morning exploring town’s medieval secret corners and savoring the open-air market in entrance of the cathedral.
A beautiful medieval path introduced us to St. Cirq Lapopie, an impressive village perched on a cliff above the Lot River.
Chef and Journey Chief extraordinaire James Fuss ready a delicious picnic for us, which was ready on the chateau once we arrived. And, in fact, a effective glass of champagne accompanied the meal!
We started this hike within the village of Calvignac, nested towards a bend within the river, and we emerged on the Chateau de Cenevieres.
The St. James pilgrimage path led us to the village of Estaing the place we visited a church that housed the relics of an area saint.
A hedgehog crossing a crosswalk, the extravagant dessert ready by the good chef Hervé Busset. I had no concept that hedgehog might style so scrumptious.
