Once we stepped off the airplane in Havana, it felt like we had traveled again in time to the Nineteen Fifties. Classic Chevys roll across the metropolis and other people collect on sidewalks, chatting and taking part in devices collectively. Music pours into the streets day and evening.
The structure is a mishmash of types—from colonial to neo-classical, artwork deco to trendy—in stunning, shiny colours that really feel distinctly Cuban. The seashores are spectacular, set on a real turquoise sea, and the meals was excellent.
We had a beautiful time in Cuba with its heat and welcoming folks!
